* “hello” in Riyadh Arabic
Our first collection is finally here! A little late for Christmas, but just in time for many long months of tier 4 lockdown ahead...
Our bishts are basically giant floor length cardigans, traditional cloaks worn in Gulf countries. They’re perfect for snuggling up on the sofa and wearing around the house, or you can wear them out and about when the world opens up again if you’re feeling bold.
Jalabiyas are house dresses. They exist in one form or another in most Arab countries. Ours are velvet, and perfect for looking smart enough for zoom calls while feeling like you’re wearing a giant nightdress.
A few other words you might like to know when navigating our website:
-Yalla = come on, lets go
-Inshallah = God willing... also “maybe” or sometimes “never going to happen”
-Kholas = enough!
-Salam = literally peace, colloquially “hello”
